Ladymarcovan and I had our twelfth wedding anniversary today. So far so good. Might be another twelve years left in this thing, who knows?
So let's see some 'twelves.
Had a real nice crusty 1812 half a while back, but alas, no pics of it now, so here's one of the better coins from the VG-F Dansco Barber half set I sold last month. (Ex-guitarwes).

I like the color on that V-nick, CoinLT.
Oh, say, I DO have a picture of that 1812 half, after all. A wretched picture, to be sure, but a picture nonetheless.

OK, Lincolnites- where are y'all? Geez. I expected some Lincoln cents by now.

(Was also my shortest-lived BST sale ever. Somethin' crazy- I forget the exact duration now, but it lasted for something like three to five minutes before somebody snapped it up. Guess I had it underpriced, huh.)

And WOW, that's a helluva Classic cent.
Hey, twelve isn't just part of a date, or a grade... it's also a denomination. (12 pence equaled one shilling, of course.)
I wish this was my coin, but of course it isn't.

Since I was "stealing" a coin pic for that last post, I looked for a public domain one.

12 is a lucky number (for me anyway), and I hope your twelfth is fantastic!
Here's a nickel for good luck

By the way, I had a Pop Tart tonight for supper. I am from the South, we eat supper at night.

That sorta thing is a common sight around this place. We're critter people.
(We've got 7 cats, 3 dogs, and a pony. Good thing we live out in the country, huh.)
Oh, BTW, we have a pair of black-n'-white kittehs similar to yours (they're sisters), and they often sleep that way together. But then the cuddling usually degenerates into a wrestling match.
Oh, and BTW, back to the numismatic topic at hand- I've never seen a piece like that 12-1/2 cent with the Feuchtwanger eagle, ambro. Nifty.
And WCG- you suck for taunting me with thalers. I'm very susceptible to that disease right now. But I can't afford to catch it.

Congrats on twelve years, hope you both have a great anniversary! We've got number 21 coming up, so we're beating the odds, too.
Best to both of you!!
Here's a 12 for you, albeit not from our neck of the woods -
But you need to get thee behind me, Satan- I need exonumitis about as much as I need a case of Thalermania!
