I just received one each from West Point and Philidelphia. Will there be a market (1oz. silver each) and where can I follow this market?

    eBay?

there have been a number of threads on those already.

the general consensus is: ice cold issue.

Not a popular issue, something like 70K have sold out of the 2M authorised. Draw your own conclusions. Only time will truly tell.

Coins, pieces with a value like 50 cents or one dollar, have a chance of being good collectors' items ... but not always or even usually when it comes to modern commemoratives. Medals, pieces with no stated face value, usually bomb. It might not be right, but that's the way is usually is.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Actually it's 155k+ and sales are averaging approx 5k per week, which, btw, is more than most US Mint products currently offered.

I wish the US mint would would "man up" and at least put 911 the Trade Towers or something on the medal. I dislike the design and the way it side steps the whole 911 tragedy.

I got mine on Monday. I thought the "Always Remember" is an odd way of saying "Never Forget."

If you want to track the value of this medal, check the spot silver price on Kitco.
