Got a Call from my Wife today

19Lyds19Lyds Posts: 26,503 ✭✭✭✭
She was at the bank and wanted to let me know that some lady was depositing bags of Kennedy's and IKE's

Picked up 480 Kennedy's - (Correction $480 in Kennedy's)

1 - 54S
1 - 61D
1 - 63D
3 - 64
3 - 64D
16 - 1965
26 - 1966
51 - 1967
72 - 1968-D
32 - 1969-D
---------------
206 Total Silver Coins

Out of the Clad Coins I pulled 2-72-D DDR's, 1 - 72 DDR, 2-1971-D RPM-002's, a 1990-D with Lathe Marks on the Surface, a 1972-D DDO that I believe is uncataloged, a 1972-D CUD-001, and several 71D DDO's.

1972-D DDO

The 72=-D is literally beat to death but I think it has a whole lot of merit.

I have not gone throught he IKE's just yet.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

The name is LEE!

    ok, YOU SUCK! image

Thumbs up for the wife who saw the opportunity. Most wives I bet would have no idea.

This ain't a YOU SUCK moment. After last week, the bar has been raised for him.

Tough break that his 1973-S story hit CW on one of the busiest news weeks of the decade, and did not make the front page. It did get a nice editorial writeup, however.

That's quite a haul. If I went through those coins, I'm sure there would be zero silver and a few demonetized Ecuadorian 50 sucre or demonetized Mexican 10 peso coins to add insult to injury.

Congrats on the find and your wife. I can't get mine interested in things like that. I am always amazed when a bank teller hands over such a large amount of silver without any interest in it.

You're lucky the bank let those go w/o a teller search first (my bank hunts). Nice score.
