    Maybe the BEP could take a lesson from this.
    They can't seem to print the new paper $100 without the sheets folding.
    Time for plastic notes here.
    The most money I made are on coins I haven't sold.

    Is the object longer life of the currency?? That is the only benefit I see immediately... there could be anti-counterfeiting properties as well.... any articles on this?? Cheers, RickO

    New holographic security areas will be printed on the bills, including one in the shape of a maple leaf. They will also feature raised ink, hidden numbers and metallic images printed on a transparent window.

    You would think they could also imbed some kind of nanotechnology for a barcode, so it could be scanned. Perhaps this would work as a counterfeiting measure.
