Maybe the BEP could take a lesson from this.
They can't seem to print the new paper $100 without the sheets folding.
    Time for plastic notes here.
The most money I made are on coins I haven't sold.

Horse trading works best. You can't print 'em from thin air and you can't counterfiet 'em.

Is the object longer life of the currency?? That is the only benefit I see immediately... there could be anti-counterfeiting properties as well.... any articles on this?? Cheers, RickO

New holographic security areas will be printed on the bills, including one in the shape of a maple leaf. They will also feature raised ink, hidden numbers and metallic images printed on a transparent window.

You would think they could also imbed some kind of nanotechnology for a barcode, so it could be scanned. Perhaps this would work as a counterfeiting measure.
