Hey all, I know grading from pictures are difficult and not very accurate BUT what do you think these could grade?:

    I think that I'm seeing some hairlines on both of them... did you take the plastic slides out before imaging the coins??

    This is not more than an educated guess. The photos are too small for anything more. The quarter eagle looks new and I would guess it's somewhere in the MS63 range. The half eagle looks very lightly circulated, Technically an AU58, that about 2 out 5 attempts ends up in a 61 holder.

    AU58 and possibily dipped based on their light brassy color. Hard to do more than just guess with those pics. Can we get better pics?

    Id wonder about the Indian gold piece on the right. the color looks all wrong. wrong color is a hallmark of a counterfeit.

    I assume the washed out color is due to the lighting... if not, it raises questions of authenticity. Cheers, RickO

    Authenticity is a whole different issue and I wouldn't address it without much better pics. These coins (especially the Indian $ 2 1/2 gold coin) have been very heavily counterfeited.
