Trae from APMEX just called and we got everything corrected. A mistake was made at check in and he has corrected everything.
Trae was very pleasant and I appreciate this being straightened out. I edited all my posts - thanks for the input guys.

Perhaps take a photo of all the stuff you are sending and include it electronically?
Hell as a thank you we even got a 1/2 oz silver round with a nice Christmas card last year

<< <i>If you sent silver dollars in place of 1 oz. silver rounds then you were short. Silver dollars (except for silver eagles) do not contain 1 oz of silver like a 1 oz silver round does. Silver dollars are only 90% silver. >>
Exactly. I sent .999 1oz fine silver rounds. They called today and said I sent silver dollars. It's a joke. I know what I sent. This is the 3rd strike for APMEX. Now APMEX can't tell the difference between a silver dollar and 1oz silver round? Time to go elsewhere. For good. >>
It will be interesting to see what is returned... Silver rounds or Dollars ?

Quite a number of the alleged 1 oz 1970's silver rounds were short, because they were not troy oz but Avoirdupois oz, or even when they were troy oz, did not weigh 1 toz. I remember numerous scandals at that time, but forgot what rounds were involved.
Edited to correct spelling of the "other" oz

That's exactly what these rounds were. Silver art rounds from the 1970's. I'll post some pics next week when they return. In fact, I have some pics in the Recycle Bin. Let me look now. >>
To be on the save side, also weigh each round.
This all may be related to "growing pains."

It probably is. I got a "D" box of pucks so I shouldn't bi*ch too much..........
<< <i>I think you should PM: CaptHenway .... He spends most of his time on the PM forum, but he's a retired bullion store owner. He might be able to help in remembering if any of your rounds may be suspect in weight. BTW, most of the rounds pictured are not considered ART Rounds, but common bullion rounds. >>
Harlan J. Berk and his son are the owner. I just worked there for 21 years.
