America The Beautiful ~~ Chickasaw

I made a trip to the Chickasaw National Recreation Area today. I decided to post these pic's because of the ATB Quarter design and the 5 oz Pucks......The Bridge on the obverse of the Quarter is the Lincoln Bridge. It was constructed in 1909 for the Lincoln Centennial.

    This coin is one of the reasons I'm putting together a complete set of the 5 oz silver ATB coins. Great looking coin---reminds me of the Antietam commem. Great looking pics! Thanks for sharing with us.

    Considering how many state quarters and ATB quarters have buffalo on them, I'm surprised this Oklahoma ATB quarter doesn't show a couple of buffalo walking across the bridge.

    Excellent post. I'd like to see a single thread for each of the ATBs with real photos of the resource (at least the obscure ones that I've never been to). --jerry

    Across the Lincoln Bridge is Flower Park. The Park is filled with Mineral Stream's and Pool's. You can actually smell the Minerals from the water in the air.
