    I don't think Earl has offered that price since the 1960s.

    Do they still have their corporate headquarters on Wilshire Blvd.?

    Bear - You may not have paid thru the nose for that Barber Half last night
    but I assure you that you paid out something else. Not to worry though,
    its a fantastic coin - and I never realized that you were into such high grade
    Barber Halves. { I thought you collected nice mid grade examples.}

    The Price-Hugon Micro O went unsold [ NGC 65 ] at $57,500 opening bid.
    A bid of $60,000 would have secured it. Considering what the other NGC 65
    fetched a couple of years ago, this coin was a bargain.

    Or, are you holding out for my PCGS 63 in August ?

    I used them in the 1980's. If you did the prep work they were not that bad. I have paid a lot more for very little difference. I just got a 11k quote to paint my 1987 Grand National. I think i paid 10k for the car in 1990.

    The only thing i remember about Earl and coins was they kept the change that was in my ashtray.image Must have toned and sold them to a different collector.
