Not a coin guy... I'm a card guy... But anyone asking for a refund is automatically a scammer in my books, you either send it back or you keep it you don't be like "Hey this picture is different sorry I didn't ask you about it give me 10% of my purchase back"
I don't buy that OP is unable to contact the seller involved... because I just checked it out. You can go to any of the guy's listings and ask him a question. Link is at the bottom of any listing. Works just fine. Further, that seller didn't "just lose 4 sales"... the items still sold, just not to OP-and I feel that's the real motivation behind this thread. Post the guy's name, get some sympathetic responses, and get him added to a few BBLs. That'll show him. Problem is, it backfired. I'm willing to bet OP may now be on more BBLs than the seller he intended to punish.
<< <i>Bayard does have a good point, I have so many people blocked based on this forum that I am sure I am losing business. 90% of those blocked I can't even rember why. Now the problem I have is, who do I unblock? What ever the case I don't plan to lose any sleep over it. >>
You do know how to use the search function?
Just key in the blocked id, select body, then punch search.
If the id comes up in a thread, you'll have your answer.
Better yet, if folks are going to take the time to block someone because of a forum thread then they should also take the time to document "why" thew blocking occured by at least saving the thread into a "Blocked Bidders" folder.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
Thank you, OP, for outing yourself. I wish all those who need to be on my blocked list would post threads like this, it would make being an ebay seller so much safer.

Perhaps it didn't occur to you that if you are blocked from bidding that you are also blocked from emailing.

Wrong again. None of the items had sold when I started this thread. Even now, only 2 of the 4 items have been sold.

I guess I should cease to be amazed by the bizarre mentality sometimes exhibited on this board; but, I am continually amazed that an adult could think this way.

I think you've posted in this thread with 3 different accounts now. You're rather opinionated for a noob.
<< <i>Bay19, please stop embarrassing yourself and just let your thread die. In a few hours you would then be forgotten. This is what you (should) want. >>

Walker Proof Digital Album Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
I never tried to contact someone who had me blocked, assuming anyone does have me blocked that is, so I never knew about the auto block thing... My point is that it can be done if you want to badly enough. OP could use a secondary email account to create a second ID and then contact the guy.
<< <i>My opinion? You should have contacted the seller who blocked you and asked why. Not posted it on a forum. Who even knows if they are a forum member here? Kind of spiteful (as other(s) have said) and lacking a bit of maturity. >>
eBay would not let me send the seller an email, otherwise I would have. I couldn't find a handle for the seller on this forum, otherwise I would have sent a PM. My intention was not to be spiteful, but merely to let the seller know that he was disadvantaging us both for what I suspect is no good reason. Good night. >>
You obviously care or you wouldn't be posting this here. If you wanted to send a message to the eBayer and were blocked from contacting him, you could also start another account. If you really wanted the coins, you could remain silent, and start another account.

Blocked bidders are now automatically blocked from seller contact unless the seller changes that setting.
