I am curious is a US service member got the trigger pull or a Muslim did it before a SOCOM could. The rules were outlined long ago about this exact scenario. Guess we will see.

If you want to pray for something... pray that the teams identities are never revealed to the general public.

We don't get medals for shooting/killing people... we get medals for campaigns and valor. Most medals awarded to Navy SEALS stay sealed.

Edited to add: I would have kept the mission/result silent. It's like finally dating someone you've been attracted to for 18 years... and then telling your wife you went on a date with her tonight... some things are better left unsaid.

With a little bit of doctoring, Abe Lincoln can be made to look like Bin Laden- Just add a turban. Most people would rather see Osama on a penny anyway.

I hope a lucky service members got Bin Laden's personal items. Someone could auction off his turban on Ebay for a fortune!
