1914-S Buffalo newp from Santa Clara, kinda nice...

I pretty happy with this Buff, the luster is quite a bit brighter than the images let on. I had another colorful 1914-S Buff MS-64 but this one here has nicer eye appeal and it's fits well in my collection. Andy told me this coin was a 65 and he cracked it out thinking it would go 66 but ended up with this + next to the assigned grade of the 64 ya see, I'll take it... Thanks for looking....Joe

Like it a lot, Joe. I think Andy was right that it was at least a 65, based on the photos. Strike is a bit soft at the reverse perimeter and on the braid but, given the nice toning, it's hard to see it as less than 65. Regardless of the grade, great coin. Andy always has nice Buffs.
