What should I do...BST deal

I made a deal on the BST board with a member on the 20th, sent a Postal M.O. out on the 22nd and PMed the sell that payment was on it's way. I also asked to let me know when he received payment and when he would be shipping. He has not been on since the 24th and has not answered any emails I have sent him. When should I be worried?
Thanks

He was last on the 24th and has not posted anything else since the offer on the BST board. He has not answered any emails though.

I'd give it a couple of days more before outing him. It can be done in a way that emphasizes concern for his well being, and a request for help contacting him, instead of calling him a scoundrel...yet.
How long has the seller been a member here? How active is he/she?

<< <i>Is this the guy with the CBH ? >>
No, I don't think so. CBH? It was for a 10oz silver bar.

It is difficult to wait; yet, it appears (appears) you are dealing with someone with some history and well over 200 posts.

Does the guy's handle start with a "T?"

Ten ounce bar is in the $400 range. That's far too little to steal to incur any such level of legal problem as this would bring down. I think you'll be OK and this party is just inconsiderate. Let's all take it as a lesson that it is simply impossible to 'over-communicate', especially on a first time deal.
Inquiring minds want to know. If so, you should out him now. If not, you might give it a few more days. Either way, there is no excuse for not communicating right on the front end of the transaction, so that both parties know what to expect.
I knew it would happen.

No it doesn't start with a "T", but it looks like MilesWaits figured out who he is. I'll give till the start of next week before I let his name out. I agree with everyone, communication is the key to most smooth transactions.

<< <i>I would be concerned, especially with a MO. I never use them any more. There is no way to track them if they are received, spent, or otherwise. >>
The bolded part of the above statement is absolutely untrue with regard to Postal money orders. They are serial numbered for a reason. If you have the receipt half of the document, you can verify with the U.S.P.S. if a Money Order has been tendered. And the information entered on it regarding the recipient is always your safeguard against mail fraud.

The seller sure wasn't bashful ABOUT BUMPING HIS THREAD ON THE BST EVERYDAY UNTIL HE CHECKED OUT.
Let's put this way....if he trusted you---wouldn't a check have been acceptable.
Sorry, my computer fouled up---go to the library.
I've been sick-----Hmmmm
My grandma died---for the third time
Dog ate the MO-----I just forgot to call and let you know.
Patience is a virtue...except when it's my money in somebody elses hands that doesn't communicate. You just don't know if he got sidetracked or forgot about you.
HOPE IT GOES TOGETHER.

<< <i>My opinion, this guy should reply to all of your messages, no excuses unless something terrible has happened. Before I will send someone money, I want his e-mail address and make sure there will be a line of communication open at all times, this should be the standard. I would be a bit nervous at this point....Joe >>
If it's for more money than I can afford to lose, I won't send a money order to USPS PO boxes, those UPS or storefront PO Boxes, or an apartment...I'm not saying any of those would always be bad, of course not, but they are much riskier than sending money to a house or business, whereby if a problem does occur, small claims court can be a remedy.
