Which Photo Style Do You Like Better?

I've noticed over the last year that there's a new preference for coin imaging.
So I was just toying around with my camera setting on an old favorite.
Both images are raw with no post editing beyond the template.
Sorry I don't know how to do a Poll... So which style do you prefer
Thanks in advance!

Then I looked closer, and noticed it WAS the same coin.
Clearly #2 is better to my eye -- it brings out the color.
Which is closer to in-hand?
Joe.

Yes, too bright.
I like photo 1.

The problem with 2 is the glare. Excess exposure drowns detail. (Hey, that's kind of alliterative.)
I'd toy with the lighting a little. I'd also reduce highlights and recover detail in software.
Nice Isabella! How much do you want?
Lance.
I prefer the color in photo #2 but agree the definition gets a bit washed out, especially in the center.
Maybe a composite of the two would create the total picture.
I'm not crazy about either to purchase the coin from.
Alot of the pics I see now have gone from nice to almost cartoonish.
