What are your thoughts on this Native American Dollar error?
Just got this and took some pictures.

It's struck on a quarter planchet and weighs 5.68 grams. No edge lettering but I'm sure the date is 2009

<< <i>It's odd there's no date? >>
No it's not. The date is supposed to be on the edge, but because this coin is not as large in diameter as it should have been, it couldn't make contact with the edge lettering dies.
Extremely awesome find!! Did you buy this or pick it out of a bag or roll??

Yeap, correct weight and color. You can also see the copper core on the side.
Thanks Mingot!

Yeah, these are like the Presidential Dollar in that the date is placed on it with one of those roller machines.
I didn't find it, I never gotten that lucky yet. Every now and then I pull a silver coin from circulation. Got it from someone who said they found it in a roll. I don't think these were shipped in bags but I could be wrong.

<< <i>Was this from a direct ship roll? Does anyone know of any significant errors from the direct ship rolls? >>
It was from a mint roll, if that is what you meant. One that comes from a third party wrapper I believe.
