A gal calls and asks, "Do you buy silver dollars?"

I tell her we do, and ask her what she has. She tells me they belonged to her late husband, and that he bought about 25 of them some time ago through the mail. So I'm thinking she probably has some nicely shined up "Investment coins".

I told her I'd come take a look and see what we could do.....

Didn't really think it would be much....

Probably Ikes or something....

Maybe some common Morgan or Peace....

At least with silver up she can get several hundred dollars....

you never know how phone calls will end up.
My wife took a call yesterday at the house....caller had my card which states I buy coins....and he asks here where I live and says he has a couple thousand cash and wants to come look at some coins to buy.

could have went any way but I don't have a B&M.

Nothing real special toner wise. Three or four about like this.

But 1 might make DMPL and 2 others PL.
I'd like to tell you they were all 1879's.....
They were 82's 83's & 84's

I like seeing threads like this and wondering "what would I have offered"

For one like this. I'd be at about $3500 and hope to sell for around 4500.

I'm not doing very good as a dealer though so I must be doing it wrong.

Wholesale on the commons is closer to 150 - 160. Some slip by on EBay for 165.
