Long Beach Newp: 1943-S with a neat Cud and Die Breaks!

Just picked this up at the Long Beach show for my personal collection. I just love it - not only is it is a beautiful coin, but it has a neat cud and numerous die breaks on both sides!

Back in the early 60's it was not uncommon to see the steel cents in jars filled to the brim and used as door stops. When I was sorting
through cents I would go to the bank and occassionally get $25.00 wrapped steel cents in the aluminum trays they use to keep them
stored in. Little did we know back then what we turning back to the banks. Many uncs., choice au's etc.

Hopefully he'll chime in and update us on his project. >>
