AWESOME dime find from a local bank

Hey all,
I am always searching dime and penny rolls at my local banks. Usually I find a silver dime or two. Well I purchased 10 rolls of dimes about a month ago and I found, 70 MERCS!
My dimes I was and still am, ectstatic. Most are p mint, and all date from 38 to 45. I figure most are uncirculated, what do you all think? Also what are these worth nowadays, just melt or do they carry a premium? Thanks all, and hello everybody!

On the reverse there are a bundle of reeds which makeup facses.

the horizontal bands need to be fully split without interuption to be full bands. The center ones are the one which are usually weak.

Yes, in that grade those carry a premium over silver. Common dates at the lower end of uncirculated run about $5 to $9. Looking at the pictures you probably have a mix of AU and Unc.

    Congratulations.

Looks like someone robbed daddy's dime hoard and went to the bank for a color up to the green stuff. I'll bet the bank has more rolls like that.

I have no doubts whatsoever about this find. My dad while traveling the good ole USA in his retirement years, early 1990's, found 30+ from a couple rolls he bought to use for the pay phone.

    Congrats to you.

Well I have finally gone through everything, no special dates or errors. After utilizing my redbook I am certain most are uncirculated, and about 10 are AU. 23 have FSB. I have decided that i am going to keep them all as well. Also if I decide to send the 10 nicest to pcgs how much am I looking at in fees? Assuming I use the cheapest tier? Finally I would like to give special thanks to fcloud for showing me multiple varietys and what FSB is!

    Awesome INDEED!

They do look uncirculated to me.

I just paid $2.09 each for AU+ mercs from a dealer last week. Yours look even better than mine.

I suggest you go back to that bank and scoop all the dime rolls they have and will have in the upcomng weeks.

    Last but not least, welcome!
