No need to edit - some people use the two terms interchangeably, without having done the research and without knowing what's really out there (either uncertified, or otherwise)
<< <i>yes, I have been enlightened -and upped my offer to three grand ; in a PCGS MS66 holder . >>
Nice offer but I don't think you will ever have to pay up Super nice color but the coin is a 65 all day long and got a bump for the color from NGC........which has happened to me before so I aint complaining

You people are truley amazing to be able to grade this coin from the picture. What a waste of time it was to send it for grading not to mention money too. WOW!!!!!
Not that it really maters, Frnklnlvr, but the NGC Registry only shows ONE 1949 S MS66 Star FBL and here's a full picture of the holder below. I am disappointed that NGC made an error on the pop. report by missing one. Not like them to err on the report. Thanks though, this information drove me re-image the coin and I will replace the registry pictures with some that better showcase this coins incredible colors when held in hand.
This used to be tied for top pop until that pesky little 68 showed up recenty and brought 100k. MJ

65RB & 23/0:
Hope it's okay to post untoned ones. The thread title asks for "color coins" but I see some white ones.

Have sold many top pops to buy a lower graded example that was finer across the board then the TPG opinion.
