Is this a double clip, or double dud?

Probably pmd, but for 2 bucks over melt I felt like gambling.

    Looks like it was put in a vise years ago and then circulated some more. I would vote PMD.

    It looks like a double dud to me. The one at 2 k should have pretty much the same toning as the reast of the coin, but it's white. The one at 8k looks to be rim damage. Neither look like they happened at the mint when the coin was stuck.

    It's hard to believe that a double clip would have made it out of the mint on a quarter, even in those days.
