    That's a very nice 1955 DDO cent!

I bought these pieces the week before last at the American Political Items collectors' convention. Here are two are toughest candidates to find, John Quincy Adams who lost to Andrew Jackson in 1828 and Lewis Cass who lost to Zachary Taylor in 1848.

John Quincy Adams pieces are REALLY hard to find. This might not look like much, but to the dedicated collector it is a WOW! If I said that there were less than 20 of these pieces known I would not be bragging.

And Lewis Cass pieces are almost as tough.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
