I finally won a few lots in a Heritage auction - picked up an 1830 large cent in XF45, and four better date seated halves in grades ranging from VF-AU.

I bought these pieces the week before last at the American Political Items collectors' convention. Here are two are toughest candidates to find, John Quincy Adams who lost to Andrew Jackson in 1828 and Lewis Cass who lost to Zachary Taylor in 1848.
John Quincy Adams pieces are REALLY hard to find. This might not look like much, but to the dedicated collector it is a WOW! If I said that there were less than 20 of these pieces known I would not be bragging.
And Lewis Cass pieces are almost as tough.
