A campaign medal from John C. Fremint's 1856 run for the presidency, listed as JCF 1856-2. The artwork is considered to be the among the best in the 19th century presidential campaign series. It works with Fremont's "pathfinder" theme. That's the U.S. Capital up on the hill.

I do not like opening these token threads as I find these tokens quite interesting and they have Awesome Eye Appeal.

The reason I don't like these thread is that you guys are tempting me to collect these wonderful art pieces and I alread have too many other coins on my want list.

Given the relative rarity, tokens and medals are a lot cheaper than coins. And if you can do the research, they often have a far more interesting history. But I get your point when it comes to being distracted from your goals.
