I don't think anyone would disagree with you. The problem is what to do. Suggestions?
With something like 70,000 auctions a day on US coins alone (never mind all the other collectibles from fashion to gems and jewelry), ebay can't police it. Our best chance it to encourage collectors to report fakes. Lance.

I once purchased a raw 1916-S on eBay, but it looked like an original coin. It currently resides in a PCGS VF-20 holder.
That being said, I don't think I would have bid on this coin.
