Head count: PNNA Show Tukwila, WA (near Seattle)...who is going/coming?

So, I know Charmy said she was attending....I know some locals that will attend (and some that can't due to conflicts).
Looking at things, unless things change, I am going on Saturday and taking my son (it's a great show for the YNs for the treasure hunt....my son has done that the last 3 years and increasingly enjoyed it).
Walt Ostromecki (really great guy!) is running that.
So, if you are in the area, or not, and planning to attend, post and chime in

I have attended this show for the last few years and while it isn't a financial success every single time it is worth the effort to make the trip over. The coin show circuit doesn't make its way to the Pacific Northwest much so there isn't as much competition as there would otherwise be.
Traditionally I would catch a flight to Seattle in the early morning and catch a return flight back to the Bay Area that same afternoon. This time on Saturday I'm heading (back) to Vancouver, BC for a few days of holiday before returning to the Bay Area early in the week after.
The week after that will be a bit busier as I'll be attending two shows in three days; the Sarasota, FL show and Wayne Herndon's show in Virginia.

<< <i>Have fun guys... this was one I never missed while living in Seattle (the other was the Boeing show). Sure miss those shows, nothing here in the mountains - and I mean NOTHING. Cheers, RickO >>
Rick, there are such things as PLANES nowadays for consumer travel
QN...was looking forward to meeting you, but since it doesn't start until noon, and I have places I have to be starting at 1pm, I can't do it on Friday

Yeah, and if you purchased one, you'd be supporting the local economy!
I really enjoy this show.

Count me in.
This historically has been a good show and has limited space. I know of a couple of the dealers who got into the show only upon the death of a previous dealer.
Hmmmm now what's Charmy's secret?

Ron,
While I have plenty of miles for travel, the hotels and vehicles do get expensive.
Jeremy,
If I were going to buy a plane, you can bet it would be a Boeing...

<< <i>I will be coming up for the show although I was not able to get a table. I will be walking the floor searching for want lists and doing a bit of vest pocketing which sometimes can be a fun change of pace.

Now you wouldn't be intimating that I got my table through some kind of unsavory covert feminine means, would you? Hey, a girl has to do what a girl has to do!

I was able to find Glenn (PonyExpress8) and had a good chat. Picked up a nice 1921-D merc in VF from him.
Walked around a bit, saw Charmy (ThePennyLady)....admired the cool copper she had.
Now, past that, it will have to wait until after Saturday

PM me if you can graciously assist. Purchase or trade for.
Thanx!
Since I'm booked all day Satuday, I have three options:
(A) Sneak out of work around 2:30 today, and catch 2 hours tonight.
(B) Go on Sunday
(C) Not go at all, and live in pain.
Help! Which option is better???

Yep I am going after work this am.
I should be there around 12:30 in my Sidney Crosby jersey.
So stop me and say Hi anyone here from the forums please.
Rob
The traffic was tougher on the way down. Maybe 50 minutes or so? Renton/405 was a mess (what's new). No problems getting home. I left the show around 5:30. No problem. I heard they were staying open until 7pm. Had I known that I would have left left work a little latter. Maybe
Picked up a cherry PCGS 1909-D MS 63 Barber quarter. Nice original toning. Nothing much else jumped out at me. Lots of cool stuff down there though. Well worth the trip!
Dave
PS The Lady Lady had some amazing material!
