Anyone win anthing in the Heritage auction today?

I'm 95+% sure I cherried an MS65 Walker variety that I still need for well back of generic Bid.

Now I have to wait and see what arrives in the mail.
Then if all goes well there, I get to sweat out a crossover try.

Ah... the joys of variety collecting.

No, I lost the only item I REALLY WANTED in that sale, the Pan-Pac $2.50 in PCGS MS-66.

I posted a bid that was equal to the highest bid Heritage had realized on the coin, and got sold out for a $250 advance on a $7.000+ item.

I've really come to hate auctions. As a dealer they were useful because I had a wider range of interest. As a collector when I'm mostly looking for one or two items, all it takes is one determined person to ruin the sale.

I'll take a bourse over an auction any day.

19-s My current 19-s was a 53 but I liked this one better.

1938-D Over Paid a bit but loved the color. Thank you Walkerguy21D for pointing this one out.
