23-P buff, guess the grade on my newp [Grade Posted]

Going into Baltimore, this was certainly not on my shopping list, as I was quite happy with the one I've owned for a number of years. But this one just had the look, and despite some flatness on the bison's head, an impulse buy was made. What do you think it grades?

I'd say it's in a 66 holder as well. Very nice Buff

Nothing like a beautiful buffalo nickel!! This particular one is gorgeous to say the least, great eye appeal ... I'll say 65 with a real good shot at 66. image

Another piece to die for. I'd give it a solid MS66, and it doesn't take any pushing to get it there. The surfaces are just amazing, and the strike excellent to boot. I just can't imagine one any nicer.
    Love your photographs, too.

Judging by the strike itself (not including toning) this coin would be a 66.

Add toning (which I normally don't condider) and we have a 67.

Well.........there you go....I usually undergrade, so now I'll overgrade.

    66. LOVE the toning on the reverse. Excellent strike. Nice pickup!

another beauty, nice pick-ups ... image

since this one is a guess the grade, I see that as a Superb Gem coin ... not sure if that would mean a 66 or a 67, but I know it's up there

Surprise!! I'm sure if I posted with my images I would have gotten a bunch of guesses closer to the assigned grade. In hand the coin is every bit as nice as the image in the OP. I've sent some time looking for anything that I missed that would account for the assigned grade, but nada.

    That's clearly an undergraded coin.

    I couldn't agree more.

ad4400, if you paid 63 money for it you did very well!

Ad4400, you are a lucky stiff. That piece is undergraded by two points easy.

    Buffs are tough to grade.
    I would have guessed 65/66.
