I got a new Merc' too :)
this came today ... thanks Broadstruck ... and it traces it's way back to the crazy fairlane driving Duck fan
it's not quite the same grade as Relics 1917, but I like her.
Thoughts and/or opinions?

If it is, I'm going with 63 NB, if not 64 NB
Yes, a very light one, but it reflects the lighting position noticably ... much less noticable in hand.

Yes green toning as there's not even a trace of pvc on this Merc.

yes, some emerald green and some blue-green toning ... more than I could capture

Hopefully some of the raw dimes I bought tonight will be as nice as the one you just got.
Ken
but actually pretty close ... although would never go.
I own about a dozen pcgs graded 63's ... and I am relatively certain that other than maybe three or
four of the 63's, this coin is just as nice. If I covered all the grades and laid them out, letting you know
there was a 61 in the bunch, I am almost 100% certain this is not the one you would pick.
Thanks to Broadstruck, I got to see different pictures from different people of the coin including Ken's
original pictures, and in the end, I had a good feeling and decided to give her a whirl.
I'm glad I did ... she found a good home.

<< <i>I am sure the coin is better in hand... I like Merc's and this is a nice one.. but the photograph seems somehow, a bit lifeless. Cheers, RickO >>
A photo I took of the coin.
