Which Morgan would you rather have?

First coin is an MS64 with nice color and rainbows, second coin is an MS66 with really clean surfaces and excellent luster. Both are common issues so the second coin is obviously worth a lot more, but which would you rather own as a collector?

I'm not a fan of corrosion or tarnish or whatever you want to call it.
I like them both...........
As for eye appeal it's a toss up. The mark on Ms. Liberty's jaw bugs me on the 1896. The minor clatter on the cheek of the 1882-S would bug me if it's graded MS-65.

I like to refer to it as original surfaces

That's normal for an 1882-S. If one of those comes poorly struck it's news.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Love that subtle toning and bright white with booming luster dollar!

then compensates for the toning on the first coin and presents more
value for your dollar. The first coin looks like a 64, while
the second coin looks like a MS-66.

Generally I prefer nicely toned Morgans but that 82-S is so fresh and dazzling I'd snap that one up in a flash.
