Thanks Santa! Sorry for being at the in-laws and not having a scanner here but I recieved a PSA 10 1991 Stadium Club Frank Thomas card. This is one of my favorite cards from my youth. Looking at it brings back a ton of great memories and having it in a PSA 10 is even better!! Thanks Estil (Santa)

Awesome thread and great gifts!!! I've been waiting for this thread almost as much as I've been waiting to open my box from Paul (aka perkdog). Here's what was inside:
1 1950 and 3 1951 Bowmans including 2 HOFers - all of which will come in handy for my sets!
I would like to thank my Santa for sending a bunch of Phillies related items including an awesome custom cut Robin Roberts card and also a Rickey Henderson GU card. Right now my office is filled with gifts and my scanner is buried but after the family comes over tonight I will get some scans up. We couldn't leave the gifts under the tree since my 2 year old keeps trying to open everything in sight.
Thanks again to Matt for coordinating this exchange. I have no other fellow collectors in my family so this is the only time I get to share my hobby at the holiday season!

I'd like to second these sentiments! Nobody else in my family appreciates the hobby (or really cares much for it, for that matter) so being a part of this is very special to me.
Thanks for another great job in running this, Matt! It is very much appreciated!!

Very Nice Tonya! Hey did Matt tell you the funny story about my card & gift I received from Matt?
YOUR Name was on the return address and my Mother thought I was having a long distant relationship with some girl named Tonya in Florida
First off, I've got to send a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Secret Santa. HB Craig
I couldn't have asked for a better Secret Santa!
Some cards for my registry set.
As if that wasn't enough Craig got me a Ted Simmons signed ball! As a big Simmons collector, this is just awesome. I don't know how many times I've had Simmons signed balls on my Ebay watch list but I've never pulled the trigger.
And last but definitely not least. The classic 8 Ball jacket! Oh hell yes this is one sweet jacket. It fits great and it looks even better. I wore it to the theater this afternoon (Sherlock Holmes), and I got some really long looks from the ladies. This jacket takes my game to the next level. Thanks Craig!
Yes, that's really what Puddy looks like. Feel free to use these pics as your next avatar.

I opened my cards last night and ripped a couple packs.
Many thanks once again Jim, this really is a well thought out gift, and great cards.
A much needed Johnston for my C56 set, time to add ol #30.
And a nice Ciccarelli RC from the 1981 pack. Pulled a high grade 84 Bossy. There's lots of high grade cards from both years. And I'll be ripping the 78 OPCs tonight looking for a Bossy rc.
A Gardiner for my T218s, slowly getting started, thanks for the help.

Also a pack on 1981 Football. Sadly no Montana, but I am going to use the wrapper to decorate my album. You hit the nail on the head! Thanks a bunch and Merry Christmas!
Hey Matt, thanks for organizing this again this year!
A big Thank you to TheThrill22 (Tom) for a sweet unopened box of 1987 Topps Hockey straight from Baseball Card Exchange........... Ahhhhhhhh the clean fresh minty packs ! ! ! Santa is watching over this RIP - that's a good sign ! ! Well I was wanting to get a Robitaille rookie and maybe a nice Gretzky - but no I just couldn't get one I got 3 Robitaille rookies all centered ! ! ! and 2 awesome Gretzkys all centered - I am 99% sure that one of the Gretzkys will grade a 10 I will get scans of those in awhile - they are gorgeous and it was an extremely fun RIP that I will recommend to any hockey collector. Out of the box I got a complete set minty fresh many duplicates and I saved the nicest pack still unopened to possibly get slabbed, THANKS TOM ! !
First off I'd like to really like to Thank Matt & Tonya ( for putting up with Matt) for organizing this, I'm sure it is very time consuming. Hope you all spent time with your close loved ones this Christmas.

Ok - sorry to my SS for the delay...network printer likes to act up on occasion. I am pleased to display the following sweet autos (all hofers at that I believe), including Earl the Pearl and Moses Malone! Next up - some graded rookies from /69 and 70, including a beauty Adelman. This sadly may get me to eventually work on a PSA graded '70 set...dammit. Also received a few modern packs. 2008 SP and 2009 Panini. No hits but for the regular lebron in SP (which was scratched up) but still fun to rip. I liked that Panini apparently puts a rookie (or a hit card i assume) in every pack. SP's are always nice to look at. Anywho - see a pic for an example of each. Not included are pics of 3 commons from '87 fleer that I need for my graded set - one of which is a lock for a 9 but I opened after sending in my December $5 special sub
Overall very pleased, and kudos to Matt for putting this together...had a blast! Pete
Looking for rare Randy Moss rookies and autos, as well as '97 PMG Red Football cards for my set.
This is a follow up to the photos I posted earlier. I wanted to show some scans of the quality cards I got from my Secret Santa - Thanks Tom ! 3 Robitaille Rookies 2 Gretzkys nice Lemieux and 2 dead on Bossy's

Just got back from Mom's and poked my nose into my Secret Santa gifts. A lovely combo of NY Yankees AL Championship hat and long sleeve shirt, a GAI graded 1984 Football pack (I'll rip it in the AM), a few graded football cards from the 1960's and 1966 Topps Al Downing and Ruben Amaro BOTH autographed! A great package and a heartfelt thanks to my Secret Santa!!!
A very fun read again this year. Clearly some people put a lot of thought into their gift(s) and some people went well above and beyond with their generosity. Thanks to LMM for putting this together again this year and for everyone who shared their gifts on this thread for us spectators.
