Thanks Santa! Sorry for being at the in-laws and not having a scanner here but I recieved a PSA 10 1991 Stadium Club Frank Thomas card. This is one of my favorite cards from my youth. Looking at it brings back a ton of great memories and having it in a PSA 10 is even better!! Thanks Estil (Santa)image

  • Awesome thread and great gifts!!! I've been waiting for this thread almost as much as I've been waiting to open my box from Paul (aka perkdog). Here's what was inside:

1 1950 and 3 1951 Bowmans including 2 HOFers - all of which will come in handy for my sets!

    image

And a plethora of Red Sox cards!

    image

    Thanks, Paul!

  • I would like to thank my Santa for sending a bunch of Phillies related items including an awesome custom cut Robin Roberts card and also a Rickey Henderson GU card. Right now my office is filled with gifts and my scanner is buried but after the family comes over tonight I will get some scans up. We couldn't leave the gifts under the tree since my 2 year old keeps trying to open everything in sight.

Thanks again to Matt for coordinating this exchange. I have no other fellow collectors in my family so this is the only time I get to share my hobby at the holiday season!

I'd like to second these sentiments! Nobody else in my family appreciates the hobby (or really cares much for it, for that matter) so being a part of this is very special to me.

Thanks for another great job in running this, Matt! It is very much appreciated!!

As if that wasn't enough Craig got me a Ted Simmons signed ball! As a big Simmons collector, this is just awesome. I don't know how many times I've had Simmons signed balls on my Ebay watch list but I've never pulled the trigger.

    image

And last but definitely not least. The classic 8 Ball jacket! Oh hell yes this is one sweet jacket. It fits great and it looks even better. I wore it to the theater this afternoon (Sherlock Holmes), and I got some really long looks from the ladies. This jacket takes my game to the next level. Thanks Craig!

Ok - sorry to my SS for the delay...network printer likes to act up on occasion. I am pleased to display the following sweet autos (all hofers at that I believe), including Earl the Pearl and Moses Malone!
    imageimage
Next up - some graded rookies from /69 and 70, including a beauty Adelman. This sadly may get me to eventually work on a PSA graded '70 set...dammit.
    image
Also received a few modern packs. 2008 SP and 2009 Panini. No hits but for the regular lebron in SP (which was scratched up) but still fun to rip. I liked that Panini apparently puts a rookie (or a hit card i assume) in every pack. SP's are always nice to look at. Anywho - see a pic for an example of each.
    image
Not included are pics of 3 commons from '87 fleer that I need for my graded set - one of which is a lock for a 9 but I opened after sending in my December $5 special sub image

Overall very pleased, and kudos to Matt for putting this together...had a blast!
