    Love what was written:

  • I'm going to have to agree with mkman123 I think he captured it.

I wonder if the designer especially liked Franklins over any other series. Or if it was just chosen because it would be most recognizable in a smaller size instead of trying to use a coin series with a more complex reverse design, that after striking, may be mushed together.

The details of the eagle are very nice too, along with the excellent mirror field. Great coin!

    Thanks for the chance.

I think it's pretty cool, even though the person in the photo is looking at a Franklin imageimage

The eagle is pretty sweet though, thanks for the chance!

    Love the DCAM look.
    Like the Eagle.
Hate the flat hand holding a magnifying glass that isn't magnifying.

I think that the silver proof token is cool, with the Gobrecht Dollar Flying Eagle Reverse (one of the prettiest sides of a U.S. Coin) and the Honesty, Truth & Integrity Coin Collecting image with a Franklin Half Dollar under the magnifying glass.

While I generally don't like patterns, nor simple rounds, this one is pretty cool.
It's got the eagle on one side, and showcases coin collecting on the other.

I appreciate that the designer chose to emphasize qualities that s/he felt would make a good collector. I find it interesting that the magnifying glass doesn't appear to magnify what's under it. image Thanks for the chance.

  • I think it's great when an online organization can get a medal struck, and then year after year! It's quite an achievement and says a lot about the organization's leadership. I think the front side design is bold and appropriate, and I like the nostalgic changing reverses.
    Great stuff!

  • Cool looking round, I love the coin under magnification, this is the first I have seen a coin struck on anything. I have seen a stamp with the same stamp on an envelope with the same stamp etc...
Very neat, I would have to find the stamp to display with the round. Thanks for the chance!
