  Thanks very much. I got it a couple of days ago for $1100.
  
  The other 3 i got are just bullion imho but it is nice to have a coin with a bit of history rather than a plain old krugerrand.

  I think i had better put it in a capsule asap. It was sent to me loose in a small paper envelope inside a jiffy bag may have been in better condition when he sent it. It was sold as bullion though so I cant grumble.
  
  I am hoping to be able to buy some more from the same guy after Christmas.

  pec2007: There is a significant ($500-800) premium for a $20 Lib in MS-63 vs MS-62 condition. Your coin may be worth submitting as a shot 63 coin to protect it in a slab and perhaps attain the more lucrative higher grade.

  The mint bloom will determine if this coin gets a 63. If the luster is not quite eye popping, it will get a 62 with those marks, but if the "flash" is outstanding, then a 63 is possible. If those darker dull areas are actual breaks in luster, I would go with AU instead.

  Am I missing something but isn't that a rub spot above the eye.
  Before I scrolled down I was thinking AU55. Because of that and the contact marks in the fields.

  Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible.   Thanks very much for the advice and opinions. I had planned to swap with coin for a krugerrand but will hang on to it now.

  62 shot 63, depending on how deep the hits are -- scans typically hide hairlines and obscure the depth of hits, but the degree of such depends on the scanner.
