A FH 1916 Standing Liberty Quarter that really is..

As a general rule, 1916 Standing Liberty Quarters don't show anywhere near the amount of detail that the 1917 Type One pieces do. Recently, however, I handled a PCGS MS65FH 1916 that displayed about as much detail as any I have seen. These are not my images, but here are the photos from the auction I acquired it in:

The clarity of the shield and leg drapery is out of this world. It's almost too good to be true.
wow, just...wow!
on a side note, I had to check back at the posted date 7 times before I realized that it's today and that you're back! Thought it was an old post.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.

I agree. Based on the image, it looks more like a 64.
Still beautiful though.

Great to see you back here as well. Thanks for sharing the 1916 and it was a pleasure to spend a few minutes talking with you in Baltimore.
Welcome back and I look forward to your posts. I think we all do.

Would you like to wager the coin has already been sold?
Truthfully happy you are here again.

I didn't even indicate that I still owned the coin or that it was on my website. You did.
And I was 99% sure it had been sold, before I posted it here. So, it seems disingenuous for you to announce that it's on my website and then insinuate that I was trying to sell it by posting it here.

Don't feel a need to defend yourself Mark. Those who have interacted with you knew the coin was sold.

Unfortunately, very true. I would pass on it as a result.

No mastectomy, they be implant scars
Welcome back Mark! Nice color and head on that '16, the pic may exaggerate the hits on the leg and breast, but one thing for sure that coin is really struck up on the head.

Still, not as nice as the following year.
You can't compare those two dates.
Great pick up and it is one of the better struck 1916's that I have seen.
I assume that you've already sold this coin or it wouldn't be displayed on this forum
as available for sale.
