    I have come to the realization that, at one time, my collection WAS money.

    Not entirely clear if it is money now.

    I thought you were going to say, "that your collection, is just pretty average compared to some of the coins one might see, for example, at the Baltimore show?"

    It is just fascinating, pretty and even beautiful old money.

    Good analogy Pete. My wife used to be "understanding" and "accepting" of my hobby/compuslive obsession, until she asked "Why the he11 did you spend $700 on a quarter?" My interpretation is that $90 bucks is OK, but $700 bucks is not acceptable. image
