New Member Intro..............
Hi,
I have been following this site (aka lurking) for the last few years and decided to join mostly to get some answers to some of my questions. I have learned a lot from this forum and like the way the people here approach it.
I started collecting as a kid in the mid 60's just as silver was going away. My father would come home with pockets of change (days before a lot of credit card use)
and I was allowed to go thru it and keep what I found. It got to the point where I had to start paying him back
. I also bought some mint sets and started collecting from mostly change.
The coins were put away for many years and about 5 years ago a friend told me about e-bay and I started looking for coins and got into collecting again (I know it seems a little backwards
). I am learning alot and will have more questions then answers here. My main interest is Lincolns but am interested in other types as well.
Looking foward to being here.
Greg
