Who is your "go to" guy or girl on the forum when you have a numismatic question or want an opinion? And why?
Could be via PM or someone who's answers you specifically search for...

Mr.HalfDime
I need more help with world coins, obviously. The first three people on this list always have a very good answer for any question I've posted (few) or had and somebody else posted before I did (many) or just fast identification of something posted.
Mr.HalfDime I contacted once and he helped me out greatly so I would be remiss not to include him here as a still very big thank you

My first suggestion would be roadrunner, but there are a few others with knowledge across all seated coinage.
That's one of the nicest things about this place, you'd be hard pressed to come up with an area of the hobby where there isn't at least one resident expert.

"Keep in mind that most of what passes as numismatic information is no more than tested opinion at best, and marketing blather at worst. However, I try to choose my words carefully, since I know that you guys are always watching." - Joe O'Connor
Quarternut for Bust Quarters (I think he gets tired of me.)
Marmac for half cents
Seated Quarters...not sure on the forum...possibly Rich Uhrich. (I am new to the area.)

<< <i>There alot of great "go to" guys [and gals] on this forum and a number have already been mentioned... I've not seen 1798CentCollector; Conder101; or BillJones yet though... MikeinFL is also quite knowledgable on early copper

he does a mean "steam roller blues"
We are very fortunate to have at least two Seated Quarter experts on this forum, in no particular order:
Coinosaurus
Lathmach
... and there may be others.
Apropos of the coin posse/aka caca: "The longer he spoke of his honor, the tighter I held to my purse."
<< <i>I can't believe no one has mentioned Russ. He's my first and last name on that list. Everyone else mentioned has been biased in some manner shape or form and for advice you can't afford to wonder about the person's motivations. Some names mentioned are just laughable. >>
Russ is good, but Mark Feld was mentioned and I have not known Mark to be anything but upfront and without bias.
He has offered me coins, offered to look at coins for me (as a potential agent), and has turned me away from coins that he knew I wouldn't like or that he thought weren't up to snuff for the grade/price.
Mark's motivations have been to make sure that I, as a customer, and likely others in the same boat, get coins they want and feel good about and are happy with. Don't discount him.
Russ is also good and he won't BS....you should meet up with him at a show and start talking about coins for sale at the show....quite fun
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Well you get my vote Bear (your observations about the coin market, and the world in general, are priceless)!
He's extremely knowledgeable in all walks of coin collecting

JK has been mentioned, but he deserves another.
The pennylady can sure show a good small cent.
