I wonder how many of the woods, red ink and perez sketches are exclusive to the minis. If I knew that then I could calculate the odds of pulling something nice out of one.
couldn't resist - picked up 6 boxes (for $80 each after tax) fresh from a case at lunchtime, and pulled the rip card 66/99 konerko...that probably gets ripped open.

Im right at about 3 cases. My mini set is looking good and I still have not made any trades. I have a nice autograph collection going and two rip cards that are intact. Through some board members and good luck I will have Howard minis..plate, no number, A&G and Black. I have a ton of GU that I could trade or build a set. This really turned out to be a great year.
I opened three blasters. When I opened the first one, one of the packs had two relics in it! Robinson Cano bat card and Mark Teixiera game jersey. Then I opened the second blaster and it had a Ryan Howard jersey and a Justin Masterson auto -- also in the same pack!! My third box was relicless and autoless but had a Mental Movies card. I'd say I am off to a great retail start! Will report more when I get more.
I can't even find any retail around here. Great pulls.

Against better judgement, bought another box today and the only thing mentioning was the bodybuilder chick relic. Two other relics. Got another blaster and it had a Dodo mini.
So far, 3 full hobby boxes and 9 relics; Loose packs and 2 blasters = 1 auto, 1 bazooka, 2 no numbers and 1 Extinct bird. I have to sort to see about the set, but so far hobby has not been very good to me.
Did anyone happen to pull the Dice-K jersey card? If so I will most definitely trade in your favor (Ginter or non-Ginter) for it. That's a must have for me and with only 110 of them out there, might prove a bit difficult to obtain.

Nice pull on the Longoria auto, Mike. Been trying to buy one of those for a few weeks but my $50 bid hasn't been getting the job done. On another note, I was wondering if anyone else here has noticed how some A&G subjects have done poor jobs signing autos this year? I guess if you're signing ~250 of them, your hand gets tired after a while, but some guys don't even start in the signature box. Look at this Ebay auction for a 'Nique auto where 50% of his name isn't even in the box..I realize its picky, but if this is my "hit", I want quality.. I would be inclined to not bid on that card.

Thanks man, You'll end up getting one at that price range soon enough. Looks like they're dropping a bit. I sold my only other Longoria auto a few months ago so I'm gonna hang onto this one for a while. This one's better than the SP authentic anyway - part of it was under the box

I just sold my Zack Greinke silk for $160 within a day of posting it.
If you want a particular silk then you'd better jump on it or you may never see another one for awhile.
