Seriously though...I'm very picky and I consider that a strength.

I'm an expert at bringing home slight problem coins from the B&M shop after viewing them in their magic lights as being problem free. Where do they get those light bulbs at????
But seriously, one strength that's progressing is patience. I used to be a hoarder, now I'm more particular. This will save lots of time and $$$ in the long run.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
That and the wife is fine with my collecting coins.

oh my I have to be careful, I might get chastised by the great one himself Mr. F.
If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!
Also I can grade better than the TPG's but it took only 6 months to achieve........

I know what I like. (Apparently I like problem coins
Um, seriously, I would say patience, a decent eye, and the desire to keep learning.
I'm pretty gassed about that for sure.

Helps a lot in grading!
it in 24 hours for a 30% loss. Its a heck of a skill. Not only that, but
I can do it over and over again without any limitation.

I'm fairly good at detecting fake gold coins and original vs. messed with gold coins.
I know what I want and I'm not distracted by coins outside my area of interest.

I would have to say one of my strengths is I can learn things pretty fast, I guess
I am also pretty good at stapling my 2x2's...
So why do I collect? Because it is fun!!

Have a great weekend everyone!
It has work for me all of my life.. Evaluate a little truth, then throw out the B.S. and then go with common sense..
Hey, at times, I can do that to. Boy, do they get mad when I inquire about a variety they don't believe in. I have even been called insane.

I can also do the same exact grading trick that NGC uses....the 'ol "Watch me pull a grade designation out of my hat" trick. That's an easy one though.
Objectivity.
Strong ability to keep "I want" emotion in check.
Good VAM recognition skills.
Decent grading skills.
I have the uncanny ability to accurately grade a coin using only the flash from a lightning bolt. Scientists are baffled and have yet to satisfactorily explain how I am able to do this.
There are perhaps two, maybe three, others in the world who can grade coins by flash from lightning bolt.
If a picture wasn't going very well I'd put a puppy dog in it, always a mongrel, you know, never one of the full bred puppies. And then I'd put a bandage on its foot... I liked it when I did it, but now I'm sick of it.

That is shocking.

<< <i>I have a better, wider general knowledge of entire United States series than most collectors and dealers. I can also grade coins better than most people. >>
............and I'm more modest and humble than most dealers and collectors.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

I can find a decent deal on what I'm looking for. Is that a strength?
