Paper Loss = 4?
How can a card with this much paper loss be considered a 4? I thought this type of loss would make it a PSA 1.

Bill it has been my experience that PSA will only use the ST qualifier for wax and gum stains.
CJ's and even some early Bowmans get a free ride.
A water stain will not get a card a ST qualifier it will though net grade the card down.
I'm hoping that the bottom corner on that card is a stain and not missing paper?
I know that is far fetched, I did say I hoped.

So i assume even he knows it is overgraded and it should be a 1 or a 2 which would
be more in line with his price.

1915s, many were obtained through mail-aways.
That's a good price

This enlargement probably doesn't help much, but for what it's worth....
I agree that it appears to be a stain rather than paper loss.
I know that doesn't help those on the registry but at the same time it is what it is.
Steve
thread was started regarding it over at net 54 and I thought it was a stain then.
Of course everyone there felt it wasn't.
Not sure if I emailed the seller at that time or not.
A simple email to the seller would clear it all up.
