Too bad that Franklin can get re-slabbed. PSA doesn't grade it anymore :-(

That Best Platinum is nice though!

You just need the black /58 and the vintage Topps logo on the '09 Topps now...I don't think there are platinums this year...there are silks for some players though.

Wonder if PSA grades the Scoremaster box cards or the whole box?
I would love a complete box of Griffey if anyone has an extra.

Ah, the 89 Upper Deck Griffey Jr. RC.........
Back in the 8th grade I would frequently trade cards with a couple of my buddies. I vividly remember leafing through an album that my friend Josh had.
His dad bought him that 89 UD RC. Josh informed me that the Griffey was not for trade. His dad told him no way.
That being said, I made him an offer he could not refuse, although I can not remember what I gave him. And of course, I traded it later on down the road.
For what? I can not recall!!

I picked up the whole set the reason for the Thomas photo. I do collect him also so I am double stoked.

Just picked up the Scoremasters box with Griffey on it.
PSA grades the milk duds boxes so I am assuming they would grade these?

I am hoping I scored one but the quality of some of the stuff from Ebay,Beckett or Sportslots is night and day.

Nice sample, I've got the Thomas version...in the released version, the player is embossed off of the wood...pretty cool actually. In these, it's just a 2 dimensional surface.

I bought a bunch of Griffey cards from FRONT ROW back in the day. Anybody need/interested in them? If so send me a PM.

I love the oddball type stuff like that. I had a chance to buy one a couple years ago when I was
in my "have to have every Griffey card" mind set and didn't. I went back to the site and its gone.
I have no idea how to stop it from pealing but am now keeping my eyes open for one.
I made a few Ebay purchases the past couple days. Some doubles some singles.
I am pretty stoked about the 97 Stadium Club Members Only card. Very limited.

Nice 1990 Leaf Preview. Tough card in any condition. Also, I really like the 1990 Glossy Test issue--I see a lot of them with the foil crossing his face. Yours looks like it was part of the original design.

Anybody have a Griffey Jr. Sportsflic... Seemed like they were hard to get and what would be the price for one?

    Thanks

I assume you are talking about the 90 Sportsflics? I just checked sportlots and they have them for 96¢.
The 94 one with Dykstra was around 20 but its been awhile since I have seen one.

Haha, I let a complete set of the '94 All Star Fan Fest go for less than $5.00 the other day.

Just picked this up last night . I know the 90 UD Griffey
is never going to be a tough card but I consider this version tough!
I wish I could find the lit on these no copyright line cards so PSA
will note them on the flip.

Does anybody have any info on this card? It looks to be a 91 or 92 Starline 3x5? I personally have never seen one
and would love one for the collection. BTW the autograph is a phoney as a 3 dollar bill and was added
to the card and sold as a legit auto.

I saw a card today at a shop that I'd never seen before and I was hoping that you Griffey guys could help ID it.

I should have looked at it closer, but it was in a case and I didn't want to ask the guy working to get it for me.
All I know about it is that it had Griffey and Frank Thomas. I also seem to remember that it had Squares in the design. I think the squares were foil stamped.
I know that's not a lot to go on, but I don't think there are many cards with both Griffey and Thomas on them.

    Thanks
