I made enough last year such that due to a bit too much honesty on a mandatory questionnaire I sent back to my business insurance company I just received a bill for $960 in unpaid premium. There goes that play for a 1897-O Barber Half in PCGS VF35 I was going to make.
We're all born MS70. I'm about a Fine 15 right now.
Isn't income after taxes a better measure, especially after the increases in taxes that are coming?

I don't understand the ultra sensitivity to an anonymous poll. Especially given that we all post pics of coins we buy. I refuse to click an anonymous button that reflects my income in a general manner, but I will post a picture of my PR66 Stella?

Just to show how irrelevant this poll can be - I spent more on coins last year than I grossed and after my IRS 1040 deductions and credits had negative income for the year. The stock market giveth and it taketh away.

OMG! Did you guys see that? Someone said i had a good point! I better take a screenshot of this since I doubt anyone would ever believe it.
From doing the coin thing for a while I have learned that there is not a pronounced correlation between the amount of monetary income and one's spending habits. Many people who make a lot of money can be absolute tightwads while others with lower income levels will spend lavishly on their collection.

Forum member Clarkbar was quick to bash my thread/poll. With over 300 votes and counting, it seems that he was in the minority with his opinion. But then again, Mr. Clarkbar likes to follow me around and bash me openly in threads.

Quite possibly the least useful post to this thread thus far. Did someone pee in your cherrios this morning? Turn that frown upside down lil fella!
Don't worry. The year is young. Many more dumbest threads to follow for the years dumbest thread award.
I know you mean well, but I recall over 23 hits on my threads stating they were off topic.
