Sh*t like this really gets in my crawl.....these two scumbags will pay for this one!!! image
They sound like bumbling idiots!!!!!

Kentucky State Police have not yet recovered the body of 70-year-old Paul Slusher, a Fourmile, Kentucky murder victim.

Volunteer rescue crews have been walking the banks of the Cumberland River, near Pineville.

Troopers said they plan to bring in cadaver dogs and divers on Thursday or Friday, depending on weather conditions.

The people charged in the case were in court Tuesday.

Lora Amburgey and Joshua Parsons face robbery, kidnapping, murder, and tampering with evidence charges.

The lead investigator in the case, Detective Doyle Halcomb, laid out a timeline for the judge based on evidence collected and statements from the accused.

He said Amburgey and Parsons told different stories to Kentucky State Police, each blaming the other for hatching a plot to rob Paul Slusher.

According to police, Amburgey and Parsons cleaned out a safe in Slusher's garage, bound him with duct tape and boot laces, drove him in a van to

Amburgey's apartment, and unloaded the van. Then one or both of them drove to the Page bridge and tossed a struggling Slusher over the side.

The next day, police were looking for Amburgey's van, and they found it.

Police say she and Parsons were inside, along with a suitcase bursting with old, rare coins from Slusher's safe and Slusher's wallet.

Police say evidence shows they tried to cash in the coins using a machine at a Kroger.

The judge found probable cause and sent the case to a Bell County grand jury.

The two suspects will stay in jail without bond.

Slusher's family's focus is recovering his body, so they can lay him to rest.

So the scumbags tried to cash the "rare coins" in to cash star machines? image

Kentucky uses lethal injection. Hopefully these two (alleged) thugs will become personally acquainted with that process.

We can hope for that ... although the hanging would be more appropriate ... and I have a couple "friends" that could probably
provide an even more appropriate demise

In my opinion, for crimes like these, a little (or a lot) of suffering for the convicted might go a long way

Very sad, sad case ... prayers for the family

This was a scary and disturbing read...my prayers go out to the victim's family and I hope that couple gets what's coming to them.

The robbers most heinous crime was cashing in the coins in a coin star! I'll bet the deceased is still shuddering over that.

  • The really sad part of this is the two will do about 8 years in prison
and be paroled! They should get the chair, IMHO.

Maybe another reason for coin collectors to be paranoid about people knowing they are coin collectors.

I don't know where to begin. I really feel for that guy who was murdered and his family.

I also think the perpetrators should be used for gator bait. Lethal injection is too lenient for them.

I can almost guarentee meth was involved. It's wrecked more lives in this country between users and victems of their crimes than any other drug. Meth cooks and dealers should get an automatic life sentence with no parole on the first offense.

Unf*@k'n believable... image Those two goons should be burned at the stake.
  • I said this when saddam was captured, but this will go well for them too. They should be thrown in a pit of fire ants and achilles tendon slit. Of course you would need to sound proof the room and feed them quite often to make sure it isn't quick and easy

P.S. This is not me on the ant and I'm not quite sure if it is male or female either.
