Anybody still have a delivery date of 1/28 or is 2/6 the earliest delivery now? Got an email that my order was pushed from 2/6 to 2/11 but the US Mint tracking still shows 2/6.

Mine is still showing in stock/reserved, but I got the e-mail pushing the expected ship date back to the 6th. I think they're just waiting to ship it with the book.
My #3084, which lastnight went from 02/06 to 02/10, has gone back to 02/06 (with verifying email from the Mint) with the book showing the same. Something different every day.
Me, too. 30836xxx. What fun! I just went to the mint website and checked my status, fully expecting to see a date of 2/11 as in the email I just got. Instead, my date has been pushed up to 2/06! Yesterday, the dates were 2/10 for both coin and book; today, both are 2/06. Status is still "On Hold" though, I haven't made it to the promised land of "In Process" yet...
I'm keeping mine in the original government packaging. I can't see wasting my money on getting a new mint issued coin graded when it's probably at least a MS69.

Ordered mine today to beat the Thursday price rise and was told NONE were ready to ship. Agent could not give details but I don't think they had a lot of planchets to work with. He also said shipping could be 6-9 MONTHS!

Part of the difference we are seeing in the order numbers being earlier yet some are on backorder and mine in procees, is (could be a longshot) I ordered mine via phone vs. the intenet.

I received this email today telling me that the ship date was now 2/11, but when I check the track status within the USM site it still shows 2/6. Any ideas?

Early sales of the U.S. Mint's 2009 Ultra High Relief Double Eagle Gold Coin have been brisk, a spokesman said.
The coin that went on sale Thursday is an upgraded reproduction of Augustus Saint-Gaudens's 1907 Double Eagle.
As of 11:59 p.m. EST Monday, the Mint had sold 40,727 of the new one-ounce coins, bringing in $48.4 million, said Greg Hernandez, acting director of public affairs for the U.S. Mint.
The coin, available through Dec. 31, is pure 24-karat gold -- more malleable than 22-karat or 90% gold coins. This makes it better for striking "ultra high relief," which means greater detail.
Mr. Hernandez said that "despite Saint-Gaudens's artistic masterpiece, the minting process at the time didn't allow for mass production of ultra-high relief coins."
The initial sale price for the coins last week was $1,189, but the price can fluctuate each week depending on moves in the gold market.
