coins or series these days? How hard does one have to work in order to sell a liquid coin?

In my area of interest, there are certain coins that seem to remain popular in all markets. These include Fugio coppers and Massachusetts Pine Tree Shillings. I would also guess that coins such as Virginia Halfpennies, Rosa Americana coinage and Hibernia pieces will continue to sell because they tend to be relatively inexpensive.

I would add 18th C. anything but the prices are quite high now so they would be liquid but not at current levels.
They can be 'sold' for 25 cents anytime, anywhere.

I heard this from 2 dealers at WESPNEX, cheap Silver dollars sell, but pricey ones are, by their accounts, tough.
Key dates are usually more liquid than their common counterparts, but it depends on their price level. For example, various dates valued at 20 or 30k a year ago seem to be softening a bit.
That, of course, will change as time goes on.

Alot of morgans have come to the market , it will settle down and prices will level off and start climbing. but not the common VF grades.
