    Great Gesture Rube . It must be something in the water there in WV . My Dads parents , my grandparents live there and
    they are the sweetest , nicest , kind-hearted people I have ever met . When my Dad passed last March , they stayed here in NY
    with my mom for 3 weeks after just to make sure the house they just moved into was unpacked and my mom was settled in.
    So it has to be the water.....

    So i salute you and your great gestures to the people of this board.

    Naaa man , they don't get to do that in the 4th grade .
    Last year I remember him bringin in stuf though , that is for sure .

    This year it is just lots and lots of homework .

    I remember the 4th grade stunk pretty bad .

    He shows everyone that walks in the house though, and he called up a few of his friends from school yesterday , but his friends really aren't as into it as he is , not even close and if they are at all it is mosly the guys of today , I tell him , you still don't even know what ya got , he looks at me funny as if to say , what do ya mean I don't know . . . .I know LOL

    yeah tell lil anthony homework sucks,but ya gotta do it,not so much in my day, but now ya gotta have 12 years of college to operate a forklift to get a jobimage
    guess thats why i quit in 8th grade lol- i threw my math book at the window once,that went over real good,thats back in the days when they beat ya to deathimage i hold the record for the most paddling in one day in jr high ever to this day,i was such a nice guy to,the principal didnt like me, and i didnt likehim, hed get out in the halls and yell thru a bullhorn,that didnt strike me very wellimage i was always running by stealing his bullhorn so hed shut upimage

    It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. There were some crazy, late nights back then. It was fun, there was a wide cast of characters. Some really good people have gone by the wayside. I don't know the ins and outs of why most people who got banned, were banned, but guessing most probably had to do with not so PC comments and threads. Randy could get a bit crude but that man had a heart of gold. I have wondered for years what happened to his 52 Topps autographed set that he was working on?!?!

    Randy was kind of an enigma.

    I know he became very active on Matt's newly formed forum back in the day and then had a major blowout over there?

    I like things to stay sane - but I have to say - I miss those "wild" Saturday nites.

    This forum was hopping back in the day, it was a virtual hangout nearly every night. A lot of people involved regularly and the MODS were big time lenient and let us do our thing. It ended up getting way out of control ofcourse and eventually one right after the other guys got the hammer.
