I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then question the manner in which I provide it. I prefer you said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand to post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!

<< <i>Do these have the W Burnished ASE? Just curious if it may be possible a Reverse of 07 could show up? >>
NO. They have a Silver Proof Bald Eagle Commemorative.
Lets see, you get a Proof Bald Eagle Silver Dollar ( $43.95 ) and a 2008 United States Proof Set ( $26.95 ) in "Special" packaging all for the low low price of $100.00!
$70.90 worth of proof coins for $100.00 !
What am I missing here?
The name is LEE!

They are like books.
These are the coins and the modern period time when I put together sets for saving.
Then I can sit down with the kids, go through the sets and explain the significance of coinage.
Mike
Seems to me that all Mint products released on 10/27 are on b/o or delayed shipment status....

What you are missing is that all of the coins in the set were sold separately by the mint for $99. The bald eagle proof at $44 the silver SQ at $26 the clad SQ at $14 and the proof prez bux at $15.

You forgot about the wonderful cardboard. I have four of the 2005 sets that I foolishly ordered because I like the USMC dollar. Forget it!

Huh?
Yer misreading the Legacy set. It consists of 5 proof silver state kerters sold seppertly at $26, 5 clad prufes sole sepertly at $14 the prez bux proofs sold on their own at $15 and the hairless eagle proof at $44. It is not the bald eagle dollar and a proof set as you described it.
Additionally, this set also includes a proof version of the Bald Eagle Silver Dollar.
FYI ... the State quarters are the clad version & not the silver ones.
<< <i>In this set you will find proof versions of all 14 circulating coins for 2008, including the final five quarters of the 50 State Quarters® Program (Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Alaska and Hawaii) and the four $1 coins from the second year of the Presidential $1 Coin Program (Monroe, Adams, Jackson and Van Buren).
Additionally, this set also includes a proof version of the Bald Eagle Silver Dollar.

You get BOTH the silver and clad proof quaters 5 + 5 + 4 + 1 = 15 which is the number of coins in the set.

Not quite, from the email I just got:
15 coins, but the other five are the regular proof coins (cent through sac), not a second set of quarters

I just knew I wasn't going crazy!
Or at least I thought I wasn;t.......................

zzzzzz;
<< <i>Are the proof coins in this set clad or silver? >>
