bank find

I went to the bank today(in central NJ) and while there I asked for half dollars. Teller said she only has $6 worth. She put them in a bank envelope for me. What a surprise when I got home. I found 15 clad Kennedys, and wedged in between them, a 1943 walker. I could not believe it!

Tough times might bring things like these out of drawers.

It's a good time for searching image

The teller also seems to be unable to count.16 half dollars is $8,not 6.

Sorry, my math was wrong, there were 12 half dollars total. Must be tired after a long day at work!

My friend got a Walker in change once a few years ago, but wow, I never see 'em. Nice job!

  • Nice one!

I ask for halves and dollars from time to time as well but am lucky to get even a kennedy.

My last finds were a silver dime from change at McDonalds and some MS wheaties at a gas station

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
