Now that the coin market decline is officially upon us, what coin do you wish you sold one year ago?

TDN rang the bell in another thread, announcing that the top of the market has past, and we are officially in the softening part of the market. I had suggested that earlier and am now relieved that the downdraft is upon us. Now, we do not have to have threads every day asking if the market has peaked, but instead we can have threads asking if we have hit the bottom. Nonetheless, it will be a nice change of pace for a while.

Back to the topic at hand, name a coin or two that you wish you had sold one year or so ago. Who knows, you might get lucky and find a suck...er, I mean, a buyer from the forum.

Everything that is not in my core collection. I look to take a significant hit and if I wait it could be several years before the prices come back up. image

TDN is a Mariners fan. Don't place much stock in what he says. image

The Mariners suck ... and sadly so do the Seahawks.

Everything. I wish I had sold everything, and put the money into commemorative Elvis plates.

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

Look at what TDN does, not what he says. I havn't seen any high-end seated dollars coming on the market....

Luckily, I sold my personal holdings already.

I had started to notice significant decline in the liquidity of inventory items some weeks ago. My current inventory is really low, but I almost hate to go out an pay full price just to fill back up the store only to have it decline in price as I maintain it in inventory. Just have to wait for it to come in oTC , however its mostly junk in this area.

Words to live by! Let's see what he is SELLING. Yes, he is a die-hard collector, but will he sell some cool coins are just talk about it.

I would still sell it. I cherried most and could still sell them for 8-10x what I paid. image

I have a couple I wish I didn't sell... and have none I wish I did. The only correction I've seen, are the subpar.

No regrets here. However, I wish I had sold more silver earlier when silver was at $20 an ounce.
