Edited to add: how would you like to be the dealer who sold him all of this stuff, if it was all purchased from one individual? Can you say "irate customer"?

Heh, the dealer probably did cartwheels after reeling in that sucker.
Personally, I'd like to see some of these coins.
If the submitter had the guts to at least "try" then maybe
he or she can post some pix so we can learn something!
If you have these, post pix please!

What also troubles me is the fact that someone is out a lot of money on grading and judging by the type coins submitted, said submitter certainly is no Novice to coin collecting.
I'd like to "see" these in the hopes of learning something new today.
I'd like to see what it is that the graders saw!

<< <i>imagine if it was a crossover submission
Imagine if the submitter cracked every coin from a PCGS holder thinking they should all upgrade.

I even managed to get a couple PCGS coins regraded higher (still in the slabs)!
NO WAY I'm cracking any certified coin out to roll the dice! Uh-uh!!
I've never liked 'Questionable Color', nor 'Altered Surfaces' as reasons to BB.
WTH does that mean?
The 'experts' can't decide if it's NT or AT??
They obviously saw something 'wrong' with the surface of a coin, but won't tell us what it was??
I feel badly for the submitter, but I've been there too.....only not to this extent.
<< <i>what about the ones that graded PR91,92,97
<< <i>Yes.. please tell us .. what is PR91, PR92 and PR97...????? Inquiring minds want to know.. Cheers, RickO >>

I don't know about the grader, but I can guess that
the submitter will not be in a very good mood!!

I recently had a couple of Trade Dollars, that I believed to be genuine, and bought from a good source that were returned from across the street as "Questionable Authenticity." I didn't agree with that, nor did I like being given no opinion either way, while being charged nevertheless. ANACS did agree with me that they were genuine, and encapsulated them.

<< <i>I won't say bad things about the host here, but I recently got a questionable color rejection on an NGC crossover Morgan that has a very low serial number and which I have had for well over a decade. This was back when they were dipping them for blast white lusts. Nobody was AT'ing, and certainly not at the subtle peripheral degree of this coin. I think all three top TPGs are gun shy and are rejecting way too many perfectly nice coins nowadays. Would not surprise me in the least if these weren't all from an long held Wayte Raymond album collection. Of course that is all speculation. Bet the submitter is spitting nails right now though. >>
I think that in the current "crackdown" the pendulum has swung too far in the opposite direction with many good coins getting bagged. Although the OP's example is a bit extreme, reading the shared orders page lately has been like reading the obituaries.
